Richard Parkin is an honors graduate from the University of California, Berkeley and a recipient of the Roselyn Schneider Eisner Prize; UC Berkeley’s highest recognition in Film/Video arts. He received an MFA in Film Production from UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television. His work has screened at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Angeles Film Festival, and Palm Springs ShortFest and has earned recognitions from the Directors Guild of America and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He is an Associate Professor of the Practice in Film Studies at Wesleyan University.
